As media-relations professionals, finding the story is our job. We feed off of getting our clients noticed. Period.

That being said, it’s extremely rare for the camera to be turned on what WE do to make that happen. We’re the people behind the news makers, after all.

However, one of Canada’s most popular and talented storytellers, Global BC’s Mike McCardell, decided to feature another amazing storyteller (and finder): our very own Laura Ballance.

From her 16 hour days to her two cell phones to the nicknames she gives to all of her employees, Laura Ballance is now regarded as one of the best public-relations professionals in the country. How she did it, McCardell says, is most definitely a story.

We’re so proud of her.
